I started Campus Guardians of Wisconsin because I recognized the value of supporting great young adults who are trying to get an education and wanted a better future. I wanted them to know that they matter, they are supported, and they are not alone.

These kids are taking brave steps to attend college without the support of family. We can offer them something as simple as kind words and a care package from time to time. It was an easy decision to join this organization and I am excited about reaching more individuals as we grow.

Throughout my years of education in clinical mental health counseling, I've seen how difficult it can be for students to transition from the foster system into a college setting. It is a pleasure to provide support to these individuals throughout their journey and remind them that even if we are not providing traditional care, that we are still there.

As a college educator, I see first-hand the struggles that many young adults face as they embark on their educational journey. Every student is making a difference and an impact in our world. Supporting those who have been a part of the foster system is an honor for me.

Campus Guardians of Wisconsin gives me the opportunity to positively affect young people who've experienced so many hardships in their lives. They have each risen above those experiences to further themselves through continued education. Being able to lend students emotional support during this critical period of their lives is so heartwarming and such a rewarding experience.

I am proud to be a part of Campus Guardians of Wisconsin. Children need all of the support and recognition going into adulthood. Many young adults who have been a part of the foster system find themselves without traditional family support as they begin their higher educational journey. I think this program is a wonderful way to show them that they matter to the community.
